Greetings from Kenya.
While in the States, every time we got into the car, Luke would ask if we were "going to see Jack-Chui". (a.k.a., our house in Gatab as that is where our two dogs are.) When it was time to leave the grandparents and cousins, Luke decided he didn't want to go after all. Isn't that how we often react to life. Something about "the grass being greener on the other side." We must admit, it was pretty great to be back in America with family and friends.
We arrived safely back in Kenya after a long but uneventful flight. We made it with all but one of our 19 checked pieces of luggage, so that isn't too bad. Would have preferred all, but we are assured it will be in on tonight's flight. Ellie also started feeling poorly on the flights. After a visit to the doctor this morning, we started her on meds for an ear infection.
Please pray for us as we have once again arrived on "the other side".
Pray that we will be strong and healthy physically and spiritually.
Pray that we would be content to serve, and serve well, where the Lord has us.
Pray for wisdom to know how best to serve the people here in order that there would be opportunity to share the Gospel.
Pray that the Lord would use our efforts in the process to change hearts and minds to follow Christ without hesitation.
