Nate and Tennille Coston

Missionaries serving with The Master’s Mission since 2012.

A couple of kids who met Jesus, fell in love, and are making a go of it in this temporary world.  Proud parents of three daughters. Passionate about truth and proclaiming liberty in Jesus Christ. We are 2006 TMM Graduates, currently serving in Chambrun Haiti, partnered with Nehemiah Vision Ministries.

Getting Closer…..

March 2015 – So if you peeked in on the Coston house this week, you would certainly not see the well-polished and put-together Cleavers.  Nate has been in bed sick this week, while I (Tennille) continue dealing with plantar fasciitis/achilles tendinitis, attempting to stay off my feet when possible. We were supposed to get a new family photo done for our prayer card, but Nate’s poor Rudolph nose put a hold on that. My carpal tunnel also flared up mid week, limiting my main hand from common tasks, so one-fingered typing is becoming my friend here.  Needless to say, the kiddos have enjoyed their PB&J dinners but are ready to get back to “normal!” (as are their parents!) Life is good, despite these temporary annoyances and we are learning that sometimes “walking by faith” looks more like “sitting by faith.”  (amazing what we need our health & hands & feet for!) 😉

A lot has been in progress behind the scenes here.
Since our last update, we have been in contact with Nehemiah Vision Ministries as well as our missions agency. A decision was made to go forward with the application process, and since then things have been coming together rather quickly!
We are now in a “staff in process” position with NVM, with a potential move date in JUNE 2015.
Yes, that is only 3 months away.
Yes there is a lot to do.
Yes I’m freaking out.

This is at least a one year commitment, with an evaluation at the end of that time. Please continue to pray with us as we raise the last 40% of the funds needed to make this move. We will be using the next few months to speak at various small groups & churches interested in partnering with us. Our support has fluctuated quite a bit over the past 2 years, but every penny that has been/is given, has been put into our missions savings account. Thank you to all who have given and continue to give. We couldn’t do this without you!

Nate will be transitioning out of his construction business this month, so there is an opportunity for someone to take over the business. Please pray that it will be handed over to the right person at the right time.
Also, we intend to keep our house here, but looking to rent it out while we are in Haiti, so for the right tenants and management.
Be in prayer as we finish our application process. (Background checks, vaccines, routine physicals, dental and my recent foot issues)
Also be praying for our home/sending church as they go through more transitions. We are praying God grows our church body, uniting us together for one purpose.

Today the words to a super old hymn by Fanny Crosby I learned as a kid kept playing in my head, and while we don’t say words like “doeth” anymore, the message still sounds the same:

All the way my Savior leads me;
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my Guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me,
  Jesus doeth all things well,
For I know, whate’er befall me,
  Jesus doeth all things well.

If there’s one thing we can hold to, it’s that whatever happens, Jesus does all things well!
