The Master's
Mission serves local churches by:
-
Training Biblically qualified missionary
families for a lifetime of service.
-
Assisting the local church to follow a
Biblical pattern of missions – emphasizing the role and responsibility of
the elders with their missionaries.
-
Equipping missionaries to be prepared
biblically and technically to meet the demands of the mission field to
which they are called.
-
Assisting churches to develop a Biblical
missions ministry by conducting seminars for missions committees and
congregations on site at the local church.
-
Providing the outgoing assistance to
churches in getting their missionary to the field – funding and accounting
services, passports and visas, crating and shipping
-
Offering a broader base of counsel to
churches in solving problems and meeting the challenges their missionary
encounters on the field of service.
A New Generation of
Mission Ministers
Since 1979, the Lord has enabled the supporting churches and individuals of
The Master’s Mission to
begin training a new generation of mission ministers. These missionaries
are known for their love for the Word of God and their technical ability to
open new work around the world. Missionaries of The Master’s Mission now
serve in Africa, Israel, Central Europe, Asia, and the United States. The
TMM training philosophy has also been taught to alumni who are now serving
with other boards and in other ministries around the world.
These include alumni
serving with SIM, Pioneers, United World Mission, Send International,
Chapel Ministries International, Africa Inland
Mission, Diguna Missions, in Australia, Bolivia, Cameroon, India, Ireland,
Kazakhstan, CIS (part of the former Soviet Union), and Papau
New Guinea.
