Program Overview
The Training Year
Who is The Training Year for?
It is designed for individuals and familes who are actively preparing for long-term missionary service. This program will equip you with a thorough understanding of the Bible and give you the practical skills which will enable you to be effective on the mission field.
The program is effective as a “soft” test for church ledaership to evaluate the people they want to send out as potential missionaries.
This training is also for anyone preparing for local ministry as it will strengthen you doctrinally and equip you technically with practical skills to facilitate ministry wherever God directs you in the world.
The Expedition
Who is The Expedition for?
This program is for people who are interested in the Training Year, but may be unsure about God’s calling in their life for Missions.
The program is beneficial for high school and college graduates. Also those who have spent time on a short term mission trip and are looking for next steps, would benefit from this exploration as well.
This program gives an introductory look at TMM as you take some classes with our Training Year students.
Additionally, we work with students to help you discern how to determine God’s calling on your life from a Biblical perspective.
The Expedition takes place in the Spring annually.
Who is The Internship for?
Understandably you want to finish your degree. This program lets you do that while receiving college credit. This also gives you a window to future opportunities.
This program is ideally suited to assist preparing missionaries in determining possible locations for future service.
Use what you have learned and see God work through you as you do ministry with veteran missionaries.
Typically the Internship is 2-3 months over the summer months.
